How Availability works in Kamkejani

Understand confirmed, unconfirmed and occupied stay statuses, and why fresh host updates matter.

Availability is time-sensitive

A stay can change from available to occupied quickly. Kamkejani therefore records when a host last confirmed availability instead of treating a listing as permanently available.

Confirmed available

When a host confirms a stay, guests see that it was recently confirmed. The confirmation remains eligible for up to 48 hours. A recent confirmation gives guests stronger confidence but is not a final booking guarantee.

Availability not confirmed

If the confirmation becomes old, the stay may remain visible with an Availability not confirmed notice. Guests can still view details and unlock the host contact, but they should ask the host whether the dates they need are open.

Occupied and expected return

Hosts can mark a stay occupied and, when known, add the expected date it will become available again. Occupied stays are not presented as currently available matches.

Always confirm with the host

Kamkejani provides fresh marketplace signals, while the host makes the final availability confirmation for specific dates. Contact the host before travelling or making any payment.
