How Availability works in Kamkejani

Availability is time-sensitive

Kamkejani separates a stay’s general marketplace lifecycle from its exact booked dates and times.

Individual stays: the exact lifecycle

Hosts may reconfirm an individual stay at any time and should do so as soon and as often as they accurately know it is available; there is no need to wait for 48 hours. Every new confirmation refreshes the availability age and confidence signal and improves the stay’s chance of appearing earlier to guests. It shows Available for 48 hours after the latest confirmation. After 48 hours without another confirmation, it changes to Availability not confirmed but remains visible and contactable. After 7 days without confirmation, it expires and is hidden from guests and Kamkejani AI until the host confirms it again.

Booked individual stays

If the current time overlaps a manual or imported booked period, the stay shows Booked. Booked getaways remain discoverable and can be contacted about future dates. They retain any eligible promotion or offer placement; booking status alone does not lower their discovery position. Kamkejani AI does not recommend them as available now; occupied dates and calendar conflicts still restrict booking. When the booked period ends it can become available again. Confirm availability releases only today’s overlapping manual booking; later scheduled dates remain.

Multi-room properties

Hotels and other multi-room properties do not use the confirmation timer. Their availability comes from configured room types, room quantities and scheduled calendar blocks. Missing or zero inventory keeps the property visible with a room-inventory warning so the host can correct it.

Scheduled dates, times and calendar sync

Mark as occupied is the quick way to add an exact occupied period. Schedule booked dates is the detailed way to add future date-and-time periods. Hosts may also import Airbnb, Booking.com or any compatible iCal feed and export a Kamkejani iCal URL to those platforms. Sync can be delayed, so hosts must review errors and avoid double bookings.

Always confirm exact plans

Availability is a marketplace signal, not a reservation guarantee. Guests should confirm exact dates, times, price and payment terms directly with the host before travelling or paying.
